Music captured my heart as early as 4-years-old, sitting at the organ with my grandfather while he played and sang “Beautiful Dreamer”. Four years later, he gifted me a piano and lessons. Those early lessons provided the foundation for a lifetime of learning and making music, whether singing or playing the piano.
Over the last 34 years, I have loved sharing and making music with more than 200 students, ages 4-80. My varied background in state/national music organizations, as well as performer, accompanist and educator, has helped me understand that learning grows best in a comfortable, fun environment that builds confidence as well as skill and a love of all kinds of music.
